This will be the Hull 10K’s eighth year, and is one of the many Run For All events taking place across the UK every year. Run For All is the just part of the legacy of Jane Tomlinson CBE, who made headlines all over the world by taking part in a huge number of endurance events despite having been diagnosed with cancer. These events allow people across the UK to raise money for thousands of great causes by taking part in races which vary from fun runs to full marathons.
Glen is running to raise funds for his son’s rugby club, Holderness Vikings, and Tom is running for Ronald Mcdonald House Charity
. As you can see, Glen is taking his training regime very seriously, with a diet consisting of crisps, biscuits and chocolate. Good job he still has 5 months to get into shape!
We wish them, and all other participants, luck for June!
